Ervin Racz

Ervin Racz received his Ph.D. from the University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary. His areas of study were laser and plasma interactions, mainly high harmonics generation on solid state plasmas. At the University of Illinois at Chicago X-ray Microimaging Laboratory, Ervin Racz is responsible for the whole laboratory life. He operates the femtosecond terawatts Ti:Sa-KrF (248 nm) hybrid front end laser system; he is responsible for the whole beam line alignment and runs experiments belonging to the actual research projects such as x-ray laser generation and study in Xe gas jets.
